CIVIL RIGHTS MELCON PART II
I believe that during the civil rights movement, I believe that John Fitzgerald Kennedy was by far the only president who had a very big impact on the civil rights movement. I believe this is true because with every march that Martin Luther King Junior did, and every protest, he did not ignore it. President Kennedy acknowledged it and also did something about it. John F. Kennedy had a major role in the civil rights movement. Don't get me wrong, Dwight D. Eisenhower oversaw the integration of schools, but I still believe that John F. Kennedy had a bigger role, because he oversaw that every right that white men had, was also passed onto black men. John F. Kennedy also inspired the presidents after him to help women get all their rights as well. In conclusion, John F. Kennedy probably was killed due to his efforts on spreading equal rights everywhere in the United States.
